The body of an 11-week-old baby has been found this morning (Monday, September 1). Police were called to a property in South Wales where the infant was pronounced dead a the scene.
The incident occurred in Rhondda Cynon Taf which will see an "increased presence". An investigation has been launched.

A statement released this afternoon confirmed investigations into the incident are currently underway. A spokeswoman for the force stated: "South Wales Police was called this morning to the sudden death of an 11-week-old baby in Tonypandy.
"Investigations into the death are ongoing and you will see an increase in police presence in the area during this time."
