JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) - Anyone can take the controls of a remote-controlled airplane this weekend.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, you can join the Johnson City Radio Controllers for their annual "Learn to Fly" event.

It's happening at the Tri-Cities Model Airport.

There will be flight demonstrations, training and flying with instructors, giveaways and more.

Glenn Ross and Johnny Judd joined Good Morning Tri-Cities to talk about what's in it for novices and experienced flyers.
