A fatal motorcycle crash in Berlin on Sunday night claimed the life of a 23-year-old man, the Berlin Police Department announced.
The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of West Street and Randall Road. The preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle lost control and struck a home. No occupants of the home were injured.
The 23-year-old motorcycle operator, who police said is from a neighboring town, died from his injuries on scene despite lifesaving efforts by Berlin Fire and EMS.
Berlin Police Chief Eric Schartner said the man will be publicly identified once next of kin are notified. The crash remains under investigation.
