Dudley Zoo and Castle is giving Universal Credit claimants the chance to visit at a discounted price.

Those in receipt of Universal Credit , Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support and Jobseeker’s Allowance can buy an adult ticket for £7 or £8 with a donation.

The offer runs from September 1 through to September 30.

To qualify, the visitor must have received a Universal Credit payment in the last month and they may also be asked for photographic ID (passport or driving licence as well as a debit/credit card).

You will also need to bring eligible proof with you to show with your ticket on arrival at the entrance.
