A suspect was arrested and charged with murder after a 9-year-old boy died in a fall at a CTA station last month, Chicago police said.

Michael Korosa, 52, was taken into custody on Saturday and charged with felony murder. Police previously said Elijah Flores was captured on surveillance video exiting a Green Line train around 11:15 a.m. Aug. 10 with Jonah Soria, 22, who was arguing with two other men at the Clinton station, 540 W. Lake St.

During the altercation, the two men chased Soria and Elijah from the platform. Soria then grabbed Elijah, “as he was not keeping up,” according to a police report.

One of the two men ultimately hit Soria in the back with an object, causing him and Elijah to tumble down a flight of stairs, police said. Soria landed on top of Elijah, who was knocked o
