More than 800 people have died and at least another 2,800 have been injured in one of Afghanistan's worst earthquakes.
The magnitude 6 earthquake struck in the country's eastern provinces of Kunar and Nangarhar late on Sunday.
Afgahnistan is struggling with a large drop in foreign aid since the Taliban took over power of the country in 2021.
It was also badly affected by the Trump administration' decision in January to slash its humanitarian arm, the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and aid programs worldwide in a bid to end what it believed was wasteful spending.
