The Coloradoan is proud to present an additional element to our weekly Athlete of the Week series, partnering with Blue Federal Credit Union to honor the best Fort Collins-area football players throughout the fall 2025 season.

The weekly Fort Collins-area football Player of the Week poll will have five nominees each week and fans can vote every Monday through Thursday at coloradoan.com/sports .

The local football season began in earnest over Labor Day weekend, with Windsor, Fossil Ridge, Fort Collins , Poudre and Timnath all in action for Week 1.

You can find the ballot below. Voting is open this week until 11:59 a.m. on Sept. 4, with the winner announced later that day.
