Kevin Doherty admits to a sense of surprise that his touchline verbal tussle with his own goalkeeper became such a topic of conversation within League of Ireland circles.

But the Drogheda United boss is adamant that it’s good to talk and vent his feelings towards his players instead of bottling things up.
