MANNING, S.C. (WIS) - The Clarendon County School District says it has addressed community concerns regarding air quality, potential mold growth and other issues at two Manning schools.

The district said that, according to a letter, members of the community had recently raised concerns about humidity levels resulting from HVAC issues. It also reportedly highlighted the possibility of growing mold in two classrooms at Manning High School, as well as in a classroom and locker room at Manning Junior High School.

District officials said staff and a third-party environmental contractor inspected the rooms before a professional was hired to clean the classrooms and remove organic matter.
