Unseasonable heat continues this Labor Day weekend as valley highs climb further for Labor Day Monday.
In the valley, highs will be near 102. A Heat Advisory goes into effect at noon for highs up to 105 degrees, with a warm evening expected. In the foothills, Labor Day will also be an Impact Day with highs approaching 100 degrees. The Sierra will be warm as well, with highs in the low to mid-80s.
Skies will be mostly sunny, and winds will remain light. It is important to stay hydrated and spend time in shaded or cooler areas during the afternoon peak of the heat.
