SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Sioux Falls scored four runs in the seventh inning to rally past the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 6-4 on Monday in American Association baseball at Sioux Falls Stadium to close out the regular season.

F-M (55-45) finished in fourth place in the West Division standings to earn a spot in the eight-team Miles Wolff Cup Playoffs. The RedHawks play Kansas City at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Newman Outdoor Field in Game 1 of a best-of-3 West Division series.

Erik Ostberg had three hits to pace the RedHawks, including a solo home run in the ninth inning. Nick Northcut belted a two-run homer in the fourth inning to give F-M a 3-2 lead. Sioux Falls, however, rallied in the seventh.

Tuesday is an off day before the league's postseason starts Wednesday.
