TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Florida High grad Micahi Danzy’s touchdown Saturday against Alabama was a special one for fellow former Florida High standout James Coleman, who played at Florida State from 2002 to 2005.

“Nobody believed they could beat Bama outside of those that were close to the situation, the family, the former players and he went out there and did something,” said Coleman. “Doak was rocking. At that moment, it was as loud as it was in ’05, maybe even louder.”

It took him back to his own Labor Day weekend big game touchdown 20 years ago against Miami. Coleman posted about the memory on his social media, and talking about his moment, and Danzy’s, which put the Noles on top for good with us today, and what it means to play for the hometown team.
