MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police are investigating after two KFCs were burglarized on Monday morning, according to the Memphis Police Department.

Just after 5:50 a.m., officers responded to a prowler call at the Kentucky Fried Chicken on 1699 Union Avenue.

Officers made the scene and saw a man driving away in a black Honda Accord with temporary tags, wearing a camouflage hat, a white shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Officers entered the business and saw a cash register missing from the drive-thru window.

The store manager made the scene and said the only thing taken from the business was the cash register with $60 inside.

Officers watched video footage of the suspect first breaking the drive-thru window with what appears to be a crowbar just after 1:30 a.m. and jumping inside
