CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Tenn. — A teenager is dead and an adult is injured after a crash in Claiborne County Sunday night, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Tiffany Parker, 35, was driving in a Ford F-150 northbound on Welch Road outside of Tazewell City when she ran off the roadway and hit a tree. The truck then flipped and landed on the driver's side.

Neither Parker nor the 14-year-old in the passenger seat was wearing their seatbelts.

Charges are pending against Parker, according to the THP.
