It was a scary moment for a family at Hersheypark over the weekend when a young boy was rescued from an elevated monorail track by a Good Samaritan.

That Good Samaritan, John Sampson, told NBC10 that the last few days have been a whirlwind for him and his family.

He also said that he remembers his main focus in those moments on Saturday, Aug. 30 was getting the boy to safety.

"I am a father of three and seeing a child in danger is a really, really big thing. I think the dad instincts really kicked in.

It was a dramatic rescue by the Bucks County father that was captured on camera. In the video, a young boy can be seen walking along the tracks at least 20 feet off the ground.
