FRANKLINVILLE, N.Y. — Pollution, from the Great Lakes Cheese company , continues to affect the wildlife in Ischua Creek, and the concerns from residents like Ken Kellner continue to grow.
"We need some response," Kellner told 2 On Your Side.
Kellner says he's lived along Ischua Creek in Cattaraugus County his entire life.
"64 years," Kellner said. "60 years of fishing the creek. A lot of fishing, that's been my life, my go to place."
Last Tuesday he received a call from a friend saying there were dead fish and wildlife along the creek.
"I started going to bridge after bridge and walking the creek," Kellner said. "All I seen was dead animals everywhere. It's not only the fish now, it's muskrats, beaver. I've seen an eagle that was struggling."
