ROCKY HILL, Conn. — Labor Day in Connecticut is often seen as the unofficial end of summer, but for many families it’s about more than just barbecues and a long weekend.
Some use the day to relax, others to keep traditions alive, and many simply to spend time with loved ones.
Home folks hit the road; others have kept things simple close to home, but no matter how they chose to spend it, many said it’s about being with the people they love.
“Today I’m trying to get my rubbery legs back rested and un-cramped and just relax and know I got it done one more year," said Ed Charamut.
