Authorities are at the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash in Shamong Township located in the Pine Barrens in Burlington County.

Officials have closed off Route 206 between Stokes Road and Atsion Lake, according to a social media post on Monday around 8:30 p.m. by the Shamong Township Office of Emergency Management.

Both north and south routes are closed. Several emergency crews and mutual aid are at the scene. People are asked to avoid the area, the post said.
