MILFORD, N.H. —
Residents in Milford celebrated Labor Day with a long-running tradition dating back to World War II.
The town hosted the 80th year of Milford's Labor Day Parade on Monday. The tradition started to celebrate service members returning from World War II. on Monday, that celebration includes bands, floats, and appearances from politicians.

Event organizers said that planning this parade is a year-long effort.
"The Labor Day parade defines who we are as a people in Milford," said event co-chairman Jay Duffy. "It really creates a great sense of community and togetherness, which is really what we promote here."
