MOODY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A vehicle fire along Interstate-20 near exit 147, Moody, has left lanes of the interstate shut down for hours in St. Clair County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), a two-vehicle crash occurred around 5:38 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 1.
ALGO reported a vehicle fire in correlation with the crash. ALEA shut down both the westbound lanes and one eastbound lane in the area.
Moody Police responded to the crash. They posted on Facebook to warn drivers about the crash after it happened, referring to the vehicle as a charter bus on fire.
One lane opened in each direction around 7:30 p.m..
At 7:50 p.m., Moody Police reported that per state troopers, I-20 east would be shut down at exit 147 and I-20 west would be shut down at exit 152 due to flare ups wh
