GREEN BAY — The news of Micah Parsons being traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers was spreading across every social media platform at hyperspeed Thursday afternoon.
That’s where quarterback Jordan Love found out. And linebacker Edgerrin Cooper. And cornerback Nate Hobbs. And … well, you get the idea.
But only one of them got a phone call from the man of the hour before the actual trade happened — left tackle Rasheed Walker, Parsons’ college teammate at Penn State.
“That’s my guy,” Parsons said of Walker, as both players were members of the same Nittany Lions recruiting class.
With the deal nearing the finish line, Parsons wanted to know what he might be getting himself into going from Big D to the smallest market in the NFL.
“He called me earlier in the week asking
