NORTHPORT, Wash. -- Firefighters continue to battle growing wildfires burning in Stevens County on Monday night, according to Washington Department of Natural Resources.

As of Monday afternoon, The Crown Creek Fire burning about 12 miles south of Northport is estimated at roughly 3,179 acres, or just under 5 square miles. The Blackhawk Mountain Fire, burning just northwest of the Crown Creek Fire is estimated at 372 acres.

Both fires are 0% contained.

Level 3 (GO NOW), Level 2 (GET SET) and Level 1 (GET READY) evacuations are in place for the surrounding areas. Click here for the latest evacuation map .

DNR said the fires' location in rugged and hard-to-reach terrain has made the fires more difficult to suppress.

Fire crews will continue to work through the night.
