Police have arrested a member of a Victorian outlaw motorcycle gang after he allegedly displayed a Nazi symbol on his vest.

A 55-year-old man, who police say is a member of the Black Uhlans Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG), was arrested this morning after officers searched a home at Bell Park in Geelong.

Police said a vest was found with a patch allegedly containing the Nazi symbol.

The man is expected to be charged on summons with public display or performance of Nazi symbols or gestures.

"There is absolutely no place at all in our society for antisemitic or hate-based symbols and behaviour," a Victoria Police spokesperson said in a statement.
