To celebrate 25 years of empowering young girls in the Grand Valley, Girls on the Run Western Colorado is hosting a fundraising event in partnership with the No Man’s Land Film Festival.

On Thursday, Oct. 16, Girls on the Run will spotlight women in adventure, sports and storytelling through a curated selection of nine short films from the No Man’s Land Film Festival, the all-women adventure film festival that champions stories of “bold, unapologetic women pushing the boundaries of outdoor adventure and creativity.”

The event will take place from 5-8 p.m. at the Aesthetic Collective (501 Main St. Unit B in Grand Junction). Films will begin screening at 6 p.m.

Drinks and desserts will be available at the event. There will also be a silent auction, raffles and opportunities to donate.
