Depending on where you live, voters will choose who moves on to the general election in November in races for mayor, board of selectmen and municipal offices in various towns and cities across Connecticut.
Early voting begins Tuesday, Sept. 2 and will last through Sunday, Sept. 7. Election Day is Tuesday, Sept. 9 with polls open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If you want to vote in the primaries, you must be registered with a political party. New or unaffiliated voters can go to their local registrar’s office in person to register with whatever party is holding a primary. You only have until Sept. 8 at noon to do so.
