CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - More early voting locations opened Tuesday for Charlotte residents to vote in the 2025 primary election.
A total of nine early in-person voting sites were open across Charlotte as of Tuesday, Sept. 2. Early voting for Charlotte’s primary election was scheduled to run through Saturday, Sept. 6.
Charlotte’s Primary Election Day will take place on Sept. 9. Charlotte is the only city in Mecklenburg County that will hold a primary election ahead of this year’s general election.
These elections are for offices on the local level that make decisions affecting residents’ day-to-day lives, like local taxes, trash services, policing and more. Examples include mayors and council members.
