Mid-State Technical College is offering a new Advanced Meat Cutting and Butchery technical diploma.
The 27-credit program is designed to equip students with skills in humane livestock processing, carcass fabrication, portion control, meat merchandising and retail management, according to a community announcement.
The training is hands-on and comprehensive, covering protein breakdown, sanitation, HACCP planning and value-added recipe creation.
