Brits reveal top 20 baking fails as The Great British Bake Off returns

As The Great British Bake Off makes its eagerly awaited comeback this evening, Brits have been sharing their most common baking disasters. Nearly half the country admits they feel more motivated to put on their aprons and pick up their whisks when the cherished programme returns to our screens.

For 55 per cent, it rekindles their passion for baking, while 54 per cent love to pick up new ideas to try out. However, a recent study found that only a tiny three per cent of British bakers maintain everything they create comes out flawlessly.
