There were no jackpot winners in Monday night's Powerball drawing, with the game's jackpot growing to a staggering $1.3 billion, the fifth-largest prize in game history.

According to the Powerball website , a $1 million ticket was sold in Kentucky. It was one of nine states to have sold a Match 5 $1 million winner, along with California, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and New Jersey (which sold two).

Two states, Montana and North Carolina, sold a $2 million Match 5 + Power Play ticket.

Monday night's winning numbers were 8-23-25-40-53 Powerball 5. The Powerplay Multiplier was 3x.

The Kentucky Lottery says the $1 million ticket was sold online.
