COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) - There was no $1.1 billion jackpot winner in Monday’s Powerball drawing, but a $1 million ticket was sold in Kentucky, according to the lottery’s website .

The numbers drawn Monday night were 8, 23, 25, 40, 53 and a Powerball of 5.

Two $1 million tickets were sold in New Jersey.

The other $1 million tickets were doled out in Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, Florida, Massachusetts, New York and Virginia.

The Powerball jackpot has now grown to an estimated $1.3 billion for the next drawing on Wednesday night.

Any player who wins the $1.3 billion jackpot will have the choice of receiving the full prize amount in 29 annual payments or a lump sum payment estimated at $589 million.
