LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky football (1-1) starts its 2025 SEC campaign 0-1 after falling to the Ole Miss Rebels (2-0) 30 -23 at Kroger Field Saturday afternoon.

Ole Miss Sophomore running back Kewan Lacy rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown. Averaging 4.9 yards on the ground against the Wildcats.

Ole Miss ran for 220 total yards compared to the Wildcats’ 172.

Kentucky struggled to hold off the Ole Miss defense, allowing three sacks on the day.

Kentucky will host Eastern Michigan next Saturday.
