(WFSB) - The Powerball jackpot rose to $1.3 billion after no winners were selected in Monday night’s drawing.

However, there were a couple of smaller, but still significant, winning tickets sold in Connecticut, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

One was good for $150,000. It matched four white balls, the Powerball, and had the Powerplay.

The other just matched the balls and the Powerball. It was for $50,000.

The numbers for Monday’s drawing were 8, 23, 25, 40, and 53. The Powerball was 5 and the Powerplay was X3.

CT Lottery said 57,413 winning tickets for varying amounts were sold for the drawing.

A $1 billion winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold in Connecticut, lottery officials confirmed.
