An often forgotten comedy-drama starring Shetland's Douglas Henshall and set in Glasgow can now be watched for free across the UK.

Orphans, which hit cinemas in 1998, is both written and directed by Peter Mullan.

The film has Henshall playing Michael Flynn, a man who comes together with his sister and two brothers in Glasgow following their mother's death.

The official synopsis reads: "Through their mourning, the three egocentric brothers create chaos for themselves and their fragile sister, who finds herself alone amongst her family as they all explore the limits of sin and forgiveness."

Featuring Gary Lewis and Stephen McCole in key roles, the comedy-drama can now be watched across the UK on Channel 4's online service, following the movie being added after its screening on Film4
