A 28-year-old man was shot multiple times in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood late Monday night, police say.

The man was shot around 11:20 p.m. on East Jefferson Street and Broadway, said Seattle police Detective Brian Pritchard. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

The suspected shooter, a 25-year-old man, was arrested and taken to police headquarters to be questioned by detectives, Pritchard said.

No other information was immediately available, including what led up to the shooting.
