Yogesh Alekari's bike was stolen when visiting Nottingham as part of a huge challenge to travel the world

A globetrotter from India says he is 'depressed' after his bike was stolen in a Nottingham park - 15,000 miles into his journey. Yogesh Alekari set off from Mumbai in May to embark on a motorcycle challenge across the world, which has already seen him travel through countries including China, Russia, Estonia and Germany.

Currently on the England leg of his worldwide travels, the 33-year-old was in Nottingham for a biker event on Thursday (August 28) when his tour was abruptly halted after his motorcycle was stolen. Mr Alekari parked his KTM 390 Adventure motorbike at Wollaton Park around 11am, but when he returned to the spot within the hour, the vehicle had been stolen.
