LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Authorities detained two people following a robbery investigation in south Lincoln Tuesday morning.
Multiple Lincoln Police cars were seen near the intersection of Otoe and 53rd streets at 8:55 a.m. The area was blocked off while they investigated a robbery.
LPD Lt. Justin Armstrong said a robbery happened around 8:15 a.m. near 19th and Garfield streets. Arriving officers found a vehicle that was reported stolen from the area of 16th and Woodsview streets.
Lt. Armstrong said that investigation led them to an address near Otoe and 53rd streets. While there, they detained two people believed to be involved in the robbery.
LPD said a third person was taken into custody on an unrelated arrest warrant.
No injuries were reported. This is an ongoing investigation.
