CLEVELAND (WJW) -- The Cleveland Water Department continues to say they are aware there is a water main break affecting the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway and that they do not know when a full fix is coming.
Those from the west side of Cleveland and Lakewood who attempted to travel into the city Tuesday morning were routed off at the West 45th Street exit due to a water-logged closure in that area (as seen in the video at the top of the story), but then were able to get right back on the road.
The water main break took place Thursday and affected traffic during the Cleveland National Air Show all Labor Day Weekend long.
The Shoreway remains closed and detoured eastbound near Garrett Morgan School of Leadership & Innovation (at 45th Street). Westbound is open, but water is covering all lane
