LAGRANGE, N.Y. — A Rhinebeck resident who was initially detained in connection with an outstanding bench warrant was subsequently found in possession of fentanyl and heroin, state police said.

Ila M. Janus, 29, was seen by troopers at about 3 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, driving north on the Taconic State Parkway in violation of state vehicle and traffic law, according to a press release.

After identifying Janus, a front-seat passenger, troopers discovered the active bench warrant and Janus was arrested, police said.

A subsequent search resulted in the discovery of about 72.3 grams of fentanyl and 10.8 grams of heroin in her possession. Janus was charged with the felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug) with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled
