The Dickson Parks and Recreation Department is closing out its summer performance series with a special showing of an all-time favorite movie in Holland Park on Friday, Sept. 5.

The Music in the Park Series was scheduled to close out with a special performance by Burns native Jason Grove, who is currently pursuing his songwriting and performing career in Texas. But a scheduling conflict forced the cancellation of the concert.

Instead, the Parks and Recreation Department will present a special free outdoor showing of the classic 1985 adventure comedy movie “The Goonies.”
