PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia officially became Xfinity Mobile Arena Tuesday.

The signs were unveiled during an event at 11 a.m.

The venue, which opened in 1996, has had numerous names, and is also home to the Flyers and 76ers .

College basketball, countless concerts and other events also happen there.
