PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WLOX) - Construction is to begin on a revitalization project in Pascagoula on Tuesday, September 2.

Phase one of the plan includes improvements to the Krebs Avenue parking lot.

The lot will close in phases as crews reseal and restrip the parking lot to improve its appearance and functionality.

Crews will also add more street parking on both sides of Krebs Avenue, along with designated handicapped parking.

City officials said as the lot gradually closes in phases, extra parking will be available in the Victory Lot on Pascagoula Street.
