POCA, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who went missing last night, Sept. 1.
James “Jimbo” Davis left his residence on Black Track Road in Poca, deputies said.
Deputies said Davis suffers from dementia and is partially blind.
He was last seen by family members at 11 p.m. on Sept. 1, according to deputies.
Davis is 74 years old and has white hair and a white beard.
He also is possibly wearing blue jeans and a grey t-shirt, and he does not possess a cell phone and does not have a vehicle, deputies said.
Deputies said Davis goes by the nickname “Jimbo.”
They also said to use caution around the Heizer Creek/Black Track Road area, as an active search and rescue party is currently on foot searching.
