A railway worker told police that he was 'disappointed' someone reported him for driving after drinking multiple pints of cider.

Kieran Rigby said 'we are supposed to be a close community' when he found out that someone had called the authorities.

The 29-year-old was arrested after officers received a report of a drink-driver in Millbrook Gardens in Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire , at 10.40pm on August 10.

Rigby had been in the Black Cock pub where he had drank around nine pints of Inch's cider, StokeonTrentLive reports.
