SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: NOT-SO-STEALTHY THIEF

A bumbling burglar woke the neighborhood when they targeted a BMW in the 3600 block of Beverly Drive at about 2:27 a.m. on Aug. 31. Nothing was reported stolen, but the thief set off the car alarm when they broke a window, causing the horn to honk and lights to flash.
