A Red River Rivalry tradition returns weeks ahead of Texas and Oklahoma's annually scheduled football matchup.

The OU Food Pantry says it is co-hosting the third-annual Red River Food Fight with UT Outpost, the University of Texas at Austin's food pantry.

The two schools' food pantries are competing to see who can raise the most food donations by pounds.

OU has won the past two years and is looking for a three-peat.

You can drop off any donations at the OU food pantry starting Wednesday through Oct. 4, a week before the Sooners and Longhorns hit the field at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
