MIDLAND, MI — A youth minister affiliated with a Midland County-based international ministry is facing potential life in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a girl for years. He previously rejected a plea offer that would have negated such a possibility.

Prison is not an unfamiliar home for James P. Randolph, as he previously spent two stints behind bars, one for the gang-rape of a minor in the 1980s.
