A man accused of attacking a football coach at Warren Easton High School while armed with a weapon last month is wanted, New Orleans police said Tuesday.
Bradley Lewis, 35, is sought on counts of battery on a school teacher, aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon on school property and disturbing the peace by language.
Police said Lewis attacked the coach at the school's Canal Street campus in Mid-City on Aug. 14. NOPD did not say what evidence led them to identify Lewis as a suspect or how he is connected to the school or coach.
Heather Harper, a spokesperson for Warren Easton, confirmed the attack happened on a school football field. The coach filed a report with police, Harper said.
