BOISE — Boise State football coach Spencer Danielson did not sugarcoat anything in the immediate aftermath of the Broncos' 34-7 loss to South Florida on Thursday night, and he wasn’t about to start making excuses on Monday when he once again met with the media.

With the Broncos (0-1) switching their attention to Friday’s home opener against Eastern Washington, Danielson made one thing clear: What fans saw last week on the field in Tampa was far from the standard expected at Boise State, and that was on him.
