Maryland had as many as 11 Powerball wins across the state this past week, including a $500,000 winner in Baltimore County and a $150,000 winning ticket sold in Garrett County.
The $500,000 prize resulted from the player choosing the Double Play option, which comes at an additional $1 for a separate Double Play drawing that takes place a half hour after the main Powerball drawing. That ticket was sold on Aug. 25 at Bernie's Liquors at 1414 Martin Blvd. in Middle River and has since been claimed.
