ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions are riding three-straight road victories against the Green Bay Packers into their anticipated Week 1 meeting.

It’s the first time the Lions have won three straight on the road against the Packers since the late 1980s. Dan Campbell has helped breathe new life into this NFC North rivalry, with the memories of 24 straight losses on the road from 1991 to 2014 against the Packers now a thing of the past.

Since Campbell took over as coach, the Lions have won six out of eight meetings against the Packers, including those three from Lambeau Field. His Lions swept these Packers last season and have won six out of their previous seven meetings against the former kings of the North to cement their place on top.
